Escale a Portofino by Dior is a women's Eau de Toilette with aromatic citrus notes. It is the first fragrance from the "Les Esclaes" Collection by Christian Dior, who wanted to surprise us by creating one fragrance a year that would take us to different corners of the world, in this case to Portofino, a charming town located on the Ligurian Riviera.
This fragrance was created in 2008 by perfumer Francois Demachy. With this collection, the Dior brand wanted to create an olfactory journey with several stops in the Mediterranean, the first in Portofino. A magical and picturesque place, overlooking the sea and with a particular and beautiful architecture, fishermen's houses with facades of different colours, all surrounded by an enviable landscape and bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. A place full of peace and good energy.
Its trail stands out for its citrus notes, which give rise to a clean scent full of energy, the same energy that gives us an awakening with a view of the horizon and the sea, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Many of its components are exclusive to the Dior signature, which makes it an extremely exclusive fragrance. Among the most important we want to mention: Calabrian bergamot, Italian cedar, Sicilian petitgrain and Mediterranean cypress.
